Delaware Limited Liability Company
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: How do I use your site to form my new limited liability
company?
Answer: It's simple. Click on Delaware
LLC to the left and you will be taken to the input page.
From there, you will be guided through the easy process of
selecting a name for your company that isn't already taken.
Then you just tell us who owns and manages your company and
provide a few other details as well. After you've entered
all your information, you will be asked to review and confirm
a summary of that information, just to make sure it's correct,
before we use it to build your documents. After you confirm
the data is correctly entered, you pay for the legal documents
using your credit card. Finally, you are taken to a page where
you can print all the documents you need to form your LLC,
along with a few instructions telling you where to fax, mail
or deliver the documents after you sign them. If at any time
you have questions or a problem during the short process,
just call us or send an email using our contact
us page.
Question: Shouldn't I consult with a lawyer about forming
a limited liability company?
Answer: This website, its content, and the legal documents
purchased here were all designed by attorneys who have formed
hundreds of limited liability companies. You will find that
all of your questions have been anticipated and answered in
the information scattered throughout the site. However, if
you do have a question about the process of forming your LLC
on this website, please don't hesitate to call us at (801)745-2814.
Question: How long does this process take?
Answer: It will take you anywhere between 5-15 minutes to
enter the data on our web page. Once your data is entered
and confirmed, we will automatically authenticate your credit
card and your documents will be sent directly to your printer,
ready for your signature. After you have signed the documents,
you just need to fax or hand deliver them to the correct governmental
agencies (we provide you with the fax numbers and addresses).
Your limited liability company is effective as soon as you
fax or deliver the Certificate of Formation to the Delaware
Secretary of State and they verify your payment. You will
receive your employer identification number within 2-7 business
days (it will be faxed back).
